aka the ugliest car I've ever seen and the worst car I've ever driven. It's like someone took a poorly designed sedan and extended the roof a little bit (roof needs to go back about 7" more) to make it a hatchback (I'm not going to call it a wagon)... but they wanted to keep the same profile of the last 7 inches of the sedan version. It has literally no power, you feel like you are going to roll backwards when you initially press the gas. This is the loaner the dealership gave my family since the Volvo I crashed isn't fixed yet.
Also, MAXX sounds like the name of a male stripper.

I think the Maxx is awesome, even if a bit half-assed. At least there's a sporty high performance SS version!

MALIBU: Redesigned to address the faults of the 2013 model, with updated the exterior styling, improved back seats, and revised engine, transmission and suspension calibrations. GM says this was their second choice for a fix, but supplying every new Malibu with its own crusher was prohibitively expensive.
Yeah, pretty much. I've driven or ridden in several generations of Malibu and they all sucked.

There was a Malibu MAXX SS! Seriously, there was. They're as rare as hens teeth, but GM did actually make a few of them.

The HHR produced by Chevy was pretty terrible as well. Had one as a rental once. Felt like the steering wheel was attached to ropes and pulleys.

It's not a good looking car, but compared to the sedan, it looks much better, IMO. They came with a lot of features like the dual sun roofs, heated seats, DVD, etc. I would never want one, and my mom would like to get something different eventually, but its not a bad car in the top model LT V6 guise.
